Enric Sans i Morera
Clarinet and Bass-clarinet player. He started playing the clarinet at age of 4 by the guardianship of Carles Riera. In 1998 (age 10) he was selected to sing with “Escolania de Montserrat”. In the four years that he was singing with them, he gave concerts in important halls all over the globe like Japan, Germany, Italy, Spain, among others. He was always active playing with bands, chamber music ensembles, orchestras, folk music. He gave lessons in the privet school Amics de la Unio, Granollers.
In 2006 he went to the Netherlands to continue his musical development at the Royal Conservatoire of the Hague. He had influences from many teachers (Pierre Woudenberg (main teacher), John Ruocco, David Kweksilber, Harry Sparnaay,...) and from many musicians within the music scene. He was also teaching private lessons during his studies. He graduated in 2012.
Currently he is based in the Hague as a free lancer musician/teacher. He's involved in several projects with different disciplines: classical music, free improvisation, folk music, pop, new compositions (working with composers has become one of his great talents). He is member of several groups (some of them created by himself): Modelo62, Not’a Trio, Weimarstraat Republic, Trio Piclarin, Biovon van Tube.
He is taking off with his musical career focusing in new ways of presenting his performances to a larger audience. He is an enthusiastic player that loves MUSIC and makes people that listen to him love it too.
